ICA found a CMO and TP in AgencyChina
ICA, as a Nordic Retail Gaint, has over 100 years history. Northern European brands are popular with young Chinese with their “Delicate but not complicated” mottos. Brands such as Volvo, Electrolux and Ikea all convey this kind of life philosophy. ICA is a national brand on par with the above in the retail industry.
As the leader in the Nordic retailing industry, ICA is centered in Sweden and extends to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with more than 23,000 employees, 1,937 retail stores and pharmacies. It serves thousands of local families living their lives in the century-old brand’s vision of “Make every day a little easier”.
In 2020, ICA decided officially to enter China market, and cooperate with AgencyChina as its CMO for marketing strategy. Meanwhile, AgencyChina’s TP team were honored been selected as ICA’s Tmall Partner (TP) among competitor.
Here’s how AgencyChina went into action:
AgencyChina undertook research in-platform and off-platform, start from sketch to define brand’s positioning and core target audience.
From then, AgencyChina launched and operated social media accounts such as WeChat, Weibo, Red, and Douyin, and Tmall Flagship Store. After 2 – 3 months brand developing, on the ICA Flagship official launch day, 20th May, ICA social media WeChat and Weibo channel reached over 1,000 followers. And this number is steadily growing to 3,000 in August and onward from there.
